Mr. Käufer, TFC-Aviation is renowned for its top-tier pilot training. What makes your philosophy so unique?
Christian Käufer: Our credo is to train our students from pedestrian to airline pilot with an uncompromising focus on "Flight Safety" from day one. For decades, TFC-Aviation has been synonymous with training that not only meets the highest standards but also ensures our graduates a direct path into the cockpits of renowned airlines.
You recently integrated CROSSorCHECK into your training program. What led you to take this step?
Christian Käufer: Innovation has always been a key part of our journey to becoming Germany's largest ATO (Approved Training Organization). With CROSSorCHECK, we are taking this path further. The platform allows us to offer our trainees a modern and interactive learning experience tailored perfectly to their needs and requirements. While aircraft like Airbus and Boeing will continue to be flown conventionally in the coming decades, we are already adapting our training today—with gamified challenges, team-building elements, and AI-optimized learning methods.
What does this mean in practice for your trainees?
Christian Käufer: It means that our trainees are not only technically well-prepared but also develop social skills and teamwork from the very beginning. CROSSorCHECK enables us to seamlessly connect theory and practice. At the same time, by integrating cutting-edge technologies, we create a learning experience that is both enjoyable and motivating—an ideal start to their professional careers.
How important is the future in this approach?
Christian Käufer: It plays a crucial role! We are already looking forward to the features that will be added in the coming months. Our goal is not only to stay at the forefront of technology but also to actively contribute to advancing pilot training.
